This policy explains what information Resume Pro handles and why. It covers the app as it works today; sections will be updated as features change.
Every resume you build stays on your device. Resume Pro stores your data locally using Apple's on-device storage framework (SwiftData), protected by the same on-device security iOS applies to all app data. We don't upload your resume content anywhere, and we don't operate a backend server for it today. If cloud sync is ever added, it will be off by default and this policy will be updated before it can turn on.
Resume Pro stores the information you enter to build your resumes: your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and any custom sections you add. If you're building a resume for a market where it's standard practice (for example, a EuroPASS-style resume), you may optionally add a profile photo, date of birth, or marital status — these fields are hidden by default for markets where including them isn't standard.
Purchases are processed by Apple through StoreKit; we don't see or store your payment details. AI-assisted writing features are planned but not active in this version — no resume content is sent to any AI provider today. When that changes, this section will be updated first.
Free-tier screens show ads served by Google AdMob, which is separate from and does not receive your resume content. Serving an ad involves sharing information with Google such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general ad-interaction data, used to select and measure ads — this is unrelated to the resume data described above, which stays on-device regardless of the free/Premium tier. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent to this before any ad loads, through Google's User Messaging Platform; you can decline, in which case you'll still see ads but they won't be personalized. Subscribing to Resume Pro Premium removes ads entirely. See Google's own privacy policy for how it handles this data.
You can edit or delete any resume, or your Master Profile, at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored resume data from your device.
Resume Pro is intended for job seekers and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region).
